In an era of technology, there is a lot of ways to get a hold of Scouts and parents. Emails at times seem to go unanswered and I don't seem to get replies. So I assume I am doing everything right. Some of my boys though don't use email so I am trying something new.
A couple of my kid's teachers use a great website and app called Reminder101. It is a safe way for a teacher to text parent and student without the student having the teacher's cell and the teacher not having the student's cell. So I am going to try this and see how it works. My Scouts seem really receptive. So we will see how it works!!
The ramblings of an ex BSA Varsity Team Coach on Scouting and specifically the Varsity program. My thoughts, ideas and concerns are in no way connected or shared in any form or fashion by the Boy Scouts of America or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) who volutold me to serve as a Varsity Coach. Some personal rambling too........... (I am an Assistant Scoutmaster now that the Varsity Program has been murdered........)
