Regarding today's election - I hope it is like ripping a Band-aid - short and sweet. In the end no matter who is elected, things won't change for me. I will still have to go to work, pay bills, raise my kids with dignity and a God-loving attitude, pray daily, kiss my wife and kids while telling them that I love them and Scouting ever spare minute I have. I don't trust either politicians running. I don't trust any politician. I trust my family and the decisions we make through prayer and Guidance in the 4 walls of my home. So here is hoping for "less is more". And the family plans on spending the night at oldest son's football game - right where we should be. I don't plan on checking results until Wednesday.
And I have voted.
The ramblings of an ex BSA Varsity Team Coach on Scouting and specifically the Varsity program. My thoughts, ideas and concerns are in no way connected or shared in any form or fashion by the Boy Scouts of America or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) who volutold me to serve as a Varsity Coach. Some personal rambling too........... (I am an Assistant Scoutmaster now that the Varsity Program has been murdered........)
